How does translation memory management work?

  1. Import existing translations as TMX — Create a TM (or pick an existing one), choose Import TMX File, and map the file's creationdate/changedate, translator, variant, and file properties to Smartling's translation-unit fields; set the Translation Date property explicitly, or every imported unit will carry the import date.
